3. 88 vs India, 1995
It was the third match of the 1995 Asia Cup that took place between India and Pakistan at Sharjah. Pakistan batted first and scored 266 runs for nine wickets in 50 overs. Inzamam-ul-Haq was the highest scorer with 88 runs.
He scored those runs from 100 balls, including seven fours. In reply, the Men in Blue got bundled out for 169 runs and Pakistan won the match by 97 runs. However, it is the highest-ever score for the Pakistan legend in this tournament.
2. 77 vs Bangladesh, 1997
This knock came in the second game of the 1997 Asia Cup between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Dhaka. Pakistan set a mammoth 320-run target for the Bangla Tigers. Saeed Anwar scored 90 runs while Inzamam-ul-Haq was the second-highest scorer.
He scored 77 runs off 68 balls, including six fours and two sixes. He even put up a 109-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Saleem Malik. In reply, Bangladesh got bundled out for 210 runs in 49.3 overs and Pakistan won the game by 109 runs.
1. 75* vs Bangladesh, 2000
This Inzamam-ul-Haq’s knock came in the 2000 Asia Cup against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Pakistan batted first and put up a mammoth score of 320 runs on the board for three wickets in 50 overs. Both Imran Nazir and Mohammad Yousuf scored 80 runs each. But, Inzamam-ul-Haq played a solid unbeaten knock of 75* runs from just 61 balls to give a strong finish to his team. He smashed nine fours and one six also. First, with Yousuf, he stitched a 78-run partnership for the third wicket and then, for the fourth wicket, he put up an unbeaten partnership of 84* runs with Shahid Afridi. In reply, the Bangla Tigers got bundled out for just 87 runs in 34.2 overs and Pakistan won the game by 233 runs.
