The largest victory in ODI cricket history was accomplished by India recently, breaking the previous record. To accomplish the accomplishment, they smashed the 15-year-old record for New Zealand. India more than quadrupled the score to 413 for the loss of 5 wickets in the following 20 overs. Sehwag got 114 runs in 87 balls for a century. Bermuda’s final score in the chase was 156 all out in the 44th over, giving India a commanding 257-run victory. Ajit Agarkar and Anil Kumble each claimed three wickets to hand India this massive victory.

Team India can be encouraged by Virat Kohli’s return to form, as his 166 runs and Shubman Gill’s 116 runs helped the side to 390 runs in the first innings. Leading Lankan bowlers Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara each let up 81 and 87 runs in their ten overs, despite the fact that the home team’s performance was arguably perfect throughout their innings.

 

In order to complete an utterly convincing series victory for the Indians, they doubled it up by bowling Sri Lanka out for 77 runs. Mohammed Siraj got four wickets, while Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav each claimed two victims.
