Imran Tahir’s top 3 performances in T20I Cricket

Imran Tahir was the finest leg-spinner for South Africa. The former Proteas was known for his deceiving googlies to the batters and picking up wickets at crucial times for the sides he has played for. Tahir became the first South African bowler to pick seven wickets in an ODI, as well as the fastest South African to get 100 ODI wickets. He is now South Africa’s leading wicket-taker among spin bowlers in both the ODI and T20I formats.

In 2017, he became the fastest South African to reach 50 T20I wickets. With 39 wickets in the ICC World Cup, Tahir is South Africa’s most successful spinner. He was the first and only spinner to take more than 100 wickets in ODIs for South Africa. The leggie was also the T20 Cricketer of the Year of the national side in 2013.
