Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final: Predicting India's Playing XI for their clash against Australia

The semi-final clash between India and Australia will be held on March 4, at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai. The entire world is looking forward to watching this game because of the epic rivalry these two teams have in the ICC events.

India are looking strong with some of the best batters and bowlers in the side, while Australia have a good number of batters in the team. However, when it comes to bowlers, they don’t have the good ones as per the conditions in Dubai. Hence, the contest will be even more interesting and exciting at the same time.

Here is the predicted XI of India against Australia:

Top Order

Rohit Sharma

India’s top order will consist of their three best players, captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. The best part about the team is that all three batters are in full form and scored centuries and half-centuries in the previous games. They carry the much-needed experience with them, which is even more essential. All eyes will be on Kohli and Rohit in this upcoming game.

Middle order

KL Rahul

KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel. They handled the batting in the previous series against England, and the same will be expected in the upcoming tournament. Pandya and Axar are the all-rounders, and the management will hope to get a good performance from them against Australia.

Bowlers

Mohammed Shami

India’s bowlers are Mohammed Shami, Varun Chakaravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. These are the prime bowlers. Chakaravarthy claimed a fifer in the previous game, and the other bowlers are in red-hot form. So winning against Australia won’t be that difficult. However, they’ll have to get rid of Travis Head from the start, which will keep them in the game.
