Bowlers to bowl to most no balls in IPL

Discipline is a key to success for the players. Talking about bowling, it is important for them not to leak extras with the ball. In some games, these extras end up hurting the losing side. This is why it is important to avoid leaking extras such as wides and no-balls (byes and leg-byes aren’t in bowler’s hands). In this listicle, we will have a look at bowlers who have bowled most no-balls in IPL.

1. Jasprit Bumrah

This name might not surprise the fans much after all. Despite being India and Mumbai Indians’ spearhead, Bumrah has been notorious for over-stepping sometimes. Not to forget, his over-stepping in the Champions Trophy 2017 meant India lost the final.

Meanwhile, talking about his IPL bowling, he has bowled 28 no-balls, the highest by any bowler. Recently, he has made his comeback in the Indian team after an 11-month injury layoff and is leading the side against Ireland.

2. Umesh Yadav

The 2013 Champions Trophy has played for multiple teams such as Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He hasn’t been the absolute best, especially in death bowling for either team. Meanwhile, talking about his no-balls, he has conceded 24 no-balls over the years in the IPL.

3. S Sreesanth

There was a time when he was regarded as one of the most talented pacers with great seam position. Despite having an up and down career, he used to make it back to the Indian team somehow. Talking about his IPL career, he has played for Punjab Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and Rajasthan Royals

Talking about his no-balls in the league, he has 23 of them, one of them meaning his end of the playing career in India and at the highest level. Apparently, he was accused of spot-fixing which also included bowling a deliberate no-ball.
