Adelaide Strikers lost their first match against Sydney Thunder. The batters did their job quite well as they put up 182 runs on the scoreboard while batting first.

However, the bowlers were not at their best, especially Lloyd Pope who conceded 48 runs in 4 overs. He was hit for 31 runs in the 19th over by Daniel Sams which completely changed the match. Strikers don’t have many options so they’d like to go with the same squad against Melbourne Stars.
