Top Order

The top-order batters of Strikers consist of D Arcy Short, Ollie Pope and Chris Lynn. While Short played comparatively well, Pope and Lynn were dismissed on one run. They failed to give the much-needed start Strikers required. This is the main reason why they could just score 142 runs in the first innings. 

Middle Order

Jake Weatherald, Alex Ross, Jamie Overton and Liam Scott are the middle-order batters who didn’t perform either. Captain Ross scored 20 runs in the previous game and apart from him, no other batter went past the double-digit score. This humiliating performance from the middle-order batters will not take the team up to the qualification round and hence, the batters will have to step up. 

Bowlers

Thornton, Brendan Doggett, Boyce and Lloyd Pope are the main bowlers of the team. They tried their best to win the game but failed because of the low target set by the batters. In the next game, the entire team will have to perform collectively in order to win and get those valuable points.
