Moreover, skipper Rahim made 144 runs from just 150 balls to post a respectable total against the Sri Lankans. Later, while chasing, Angelo Mathews side could only rack up 124 runs before getting all out, handing 137 runs of victory to the Bangladesh team during the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh’s second-biggest win came on July 16, 2004, when they faced Hong Kong. Notably, on that day, Hong Kong skipper Rahul Sharma won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first. After being sent in to bat first, the Bangladesh side posted 221/9 in the given 20 overs. Notably, their opener, Javed Omar, scored 68 runs to give the team a terrific start. Later, while chasing, the Hong Kong team could only manage to score 105 runs before bundling out, giving 116 runs of massive victory to Bangladesh.

#3. Bangladesh vs UAE (96 runs)

Their third biggest victory came on June 24, 2008, against the UAE in Lahore, Pakistan. Notably, on that day, Bangladesh won the toss and invited the UAE to field first. After opting to bat first, the Bangladesh side posted 300/8 runs in the given 50 overs thanks to a wonderful century from their skipper Mohammad Ashraful, who hammered 109 runs from 126 balls featuring eight boundaries to post the great total on the board. Later, while chasing, the UAE team was looking into great form as the middle order batter Khurram Khan hammered 78 runs but couldn’t bat for so long, and the team were bundled out after 204 runs, which gave Bangladesh’s side 96 runs of victory in the first match of the Asia Cup 2008.
