1. Yashasvi Jaiswal

2. Sanju Samson

The wicketkeeper-batter has made a comeback to the Indian T20I squad and more importantly in a World Cup year. Sanju was not finding enough support from the team management whenever the squad for a major tournament was being selected. However, things are apparently changing and Sanju has finally got a nod from the team management. This will be an opportunity of a lifetime for Sanju to make it into the Indian squad for a World Cup. The Rajasthan Royals captain will have to bring his best in the upcoming series against Afghanistan and will surely be a player to watch out for.

3. Rohit Sharma

After a lot of deliberation and discussion, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma has been selected for the T20 squad. There was doubt about his selection as he had not played any T20I match for over a year but the selection committee has shown faith in the Hitman. After the 2022 T20 World Cup, there was a lot of speculation that Team India would transition into a new phase with Hardik Pandya as the captain but his injury has brought Rohit back into the mix. Now the Indian skipper will have to live up to the standards that he has set for himself.
