Bangalore lacks a star pacer who can lead their bowling department and there are very few better options than Starc who can be a leader of the attack. Wanindu Hasaranga has been released by RCB before the upcoming auction but buying him in the auction for a lesser price would be a wise move. Hasaranga is expected to be fit to play in the next season and if the leg-spinner can remain fit throughout the season then he is a proper asset to the team. He can also contribute with his batting skills which will be very important for RCB as they need someone in the lower middle order who can chip in with quick cameos.
Shahrukh Khan
Royal Challengers Bangalore has been over-reliant on Virat Kohli, Faf Du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell in the batting order. They did not get much assistance from any other batter in the last season which harmed their prospects of qualifying for the playoff. Shahrukh Khan is one such domestic talent who can reduce this reliance with his firepower.
