2. Sameer Rizvi

The top-order explosive young batter from Meerut, Sameer Rizvi, has shocked everyone as he went for an unprecedented amount of 8.4 crores. He is a great batting prospect who has performed exceptionally well in the domestic circuit. His recent performances in the UP T20 League were another catalyst in CSK’s bid for Rizvi. With Ambati Rayudu being out of the equation one would expect Rizvi to be included in his position. CSK fans would be hoping that Rizvi emerges as another Ruturaj Gaikwad who can serve the franchise for a long time.

3. Nuwan Thushara

Another Malinga in the making? Many are saying the same with Mumbai Indians buying the young Sri Lankan bowler Nuwan Thushara who has a similar bowling action to Lasith Malinga. Thushara bowls with a slingy action and can pull off pin-pointed yorkers which can unsettle the best of batters. Malinga is also there in the MI camp and Thushara will greatly benefit from his experience which will be an added incentive for the franchise.
