Asia Cup is among the most entertaining as well as followed cricketing events in the Asian region as the top teams from the continent compete to claim the mega title. Sri Lanka is also one such team who have won the title on six occasions and is the second most successful team in the history of the tournament. 

Sri Lanka is also the defending champions and will enter the tournament with a lot of hopes to repeat what they did the previous time around. With Sri Lanka also hosting the tournament, they will be eager to end the tournament as a winner once again and also prepare for the ODI World Cup which will be played in India later this year.
