3 India players that will be their key to success in ODI World Cup 2023

In the highly anticipated ODI World Cup 2023, India’s success will undoubtedly hinge upon the exceptional skills and performances of its star players. Three standout individuals are poised to play pivotal roles in India’s quest for glory on the cricketing stage.

1. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the most complete batsmen currently playing in cricket. He undoubtedly would want to win the world cup in the presence of a large audience in India once again. He had previously won the World Cup in 2011, and he would like to do so once more, but he will do so as one of the senior members of the side.

He gives the middle order the much-needed steadiness it needs. He may ease pressure off his team along with his batting partner by taking the strain on himself, returning it to his bowlers in his preferred fashion.

2. Hardik Pandya

India has been looking for a speed all-arounder for quite some time, and Hardik Pandya is that player. When he came down to bat in this position, he demonstrated his abilities as a finisher and can stabilize the innings as well.

The most important thing for him is that, if the team needs him to, he will bowl at least of between five and six overs during every game. He has been unable to bowl for a considerable amount of time due to a back problem. But if his services are needed, India would like to watch him bowl a good number of overs. He also provides the team with the crucial balance they need.

3. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj is one of the ky bowlers for Team India and his statistics in the last two years in the ODI format have been simply incredible. His place in the playing XI is all but confirmed in spite of the potential of mainstays like Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah returning to the Indian squad.

His death bowling might be a concern but his new ball bowling is something that will surely get the Indian team wickets in the powerplay stage. He can chip away in the middle overs and has the ability to take wickets at crucial intervals and break big partnerships. These sort of skills are desired in a fast bowler and can be one of the strongest contenders to win the award for the most wickets in the tournament.
