In the 2019 edition of the ODI World Cup, the 35-year-old made a comeback from two back-to-back injuries.
In the limited opportunity that he received in the tournament, the bowling allrounder picked up four wickets in five matches he played and he even produced brilliant innings of 92 against the West Indies which eventually proved to be match-winning. But after the World Cup, the Western Australian player has been in and out of the team as well as his chances of representing the nation in the upcoming World Cup 2023 in India seem really dim.
2. Shaun Marsh
Another great Western Australian player who had represented the country on the biggest stage, Shaun Marsh is widely known for his elegant batting right from his very young age. The star Australia batter received a chance to represent the national side in the 2019 edition of the World Cup in England but did not have a good outing as he was injured mid-way into the tournament.
