3 England players to watch out for in their clash against South Africa in T20 World Cup 2024 

England began their Super-8 stages of the T20 World Cup with a comprehensive win over West Indies. The defending champions coasted to the win with just two wickets down and two and a half overs left to play. 

It was a comprehensive win for England as Phil Salt and Jonny Bairstow stitched together a stand of 97 runs for the third wicket. With the ball, the English side made sure that West Indies scored just 180 runs from their 20 overs with some tight bowling. 

The next match for England is against South Africa which is to be played in St. Lucia. The Proteas too began their Super 8 campaign with a win over the United States of America by 18 runs.

Veteran English spinner, Adil Rashid didn’t have a great start to the T20 World Cup campaign. The right-arm leg spinner has come back to form at the right time and his figures of 1/21 from 4 overs put the brakes on the West Indian batters. Adil Rashid will be a player to watch out for as the South African batters tend to struggle against top-quality spinners.
