What did Sohan promise before flying to Dubai?

The Bangladesh cricket team left Dhaka to play the two-match Twenty20 series against the United Arab Emirates without Shakib. Sohans flew to the desert at 5:30 pm on Thursday. In the absence of Shakib, co-captain Nurul Hasan Sohan will lead the team in Amirshahi.

But before leaving the country, Sohan gave some promise. He thinks this match in Amirshahi before the World Cup will help in the World Cup. Bangladesh will then play the tri-nation series in New Zealand.

Talking about Bangladesh’s T20 series against the Emirates, Sohan said, “I think it will be a good preparation stage before the T20 World Cup. If we can win, the confidence will carry over to the tri-nation series in New Zealand and the World Cup in Australia.”

He also said that he is going to Amirshahi with the aim of developing the habit of winning. Sohan also said, “We have lost quite a few matches. But we also know that this team looks a little different now. So, we are going there with the aim of developing the habit of winning.”

Shakib is currently in the West Indies to play in the Caribbean Premier League. Stating that his absence is an opportunity for someone else, Sohan added, “Every team wants someone like Shakib bhai. But since he is not there, it is also an opportunity for one. He is in regular contact. He is now busy with CPL. Going to New Zealand, I’ll talk about the team plan.”

It should be noted that Sohan and Co will play two matches of the T20 series at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 25 and 27. Team Bangladesh wants to turn around in the T20 after a complete collapse in this year’s Asia Cup. Tigers will enter the field with this series after the Asia Cup. Let’s see how Team Bangladesh does in the absence of Shakib, led by Sohan.
