The police recovered the body of the domestic worker from the house of Akram Khan, the former cricketer of the Bangladesh national team and director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Since then there has been a stir in the country’s cricket.

The name of the deceased domestic worker is Sahida Akhter. Age 22 – 25 years. She had been working in Akram Khan’s house for the last 14 years. Sahida is a resident of Sitakunda, Chittagong.

In this incident, Shahida’s brother Yusuf Ali filed a wrongful death case as the plaintiff.

Police said Akram Khan’s wife and daughter were not at home at the time of the incident. Later, he returned home and started looking for Sahida. Then he saw Sahida lying between two buildings. Initially, it is believed that Sahida died after falling from the roof of the sixth floor.

Meanwhile, Akram Khan told reporters, Sahida has been working in his house for 14 years. On the day of the incident, his wife and daughter went out. He was watching a game at home. There are four housekeepers in the house. After his wife and daughter returned, they could not find one of them. After a long search, Sahida was found. lying there. He immediately reported the incident to the police.

However, it is not yet known whether it was murder. Mirpur Division DC Mohammad Jaseem Uddin said, “It will be known after the legal process whether it is murder or suicide.”
