The T-Ten League is going to start in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka became the first ICC full-member nation to allow cricketers to play in the T-Ten league. And this time, Sri Lanka is going to bring their T-Ten league. This tournament will be organized in June next year.

LPL will be organized in December. However, in future, LPL may be moved to August, and T-Ten may be transferred to December. Ashley De Silva, CEO of SLC, confirmed this.

About this, he said, “We have LPL in December next year. But in the coming years, there is a gap in August where LPL can be organized. So in 2023, Lanka T-Ten will be organized in June and LPL in December. The t-Ten league will be organized in December 2024, and LPL in August.

However, the date and venue of the tournament are yet to be finalized. The game is expected to be held in Hambantota and Kandy. Franchises can form teams of 16 players, with a maximum of 6 foreign players. This tournament will be organized for 12 days in June next year.
