The ODI captain said, there is no grouping in the dressing room. The ODI captain of Team Bangladesh claimed this in the press conference.
Rumors of a cool relationship between Shakib and Tamim are not new. But what was floating in the air as a rumor till now, is now a simple admission by the BCB president. But Tamim said that he has not seen any grouping since the beginning of his career. He even talked about his good relationship with Shakib on the field. Tamim also claimed that the performance of the team would not have been better if there had been grouping.
In this regard, Tamim said in the press conference, “I have been playing in the national team for 17 years. I still don’t see anything. But we often hear this kind of thing. It is to be said that here is no conflict with anyone. Those who know me closely know, I am a very straightforward person. I don’t hide anything. When I have to say something, I always like to say it directly.”
Regarding his relationship with Shakib, Tamim also said, “When Shakib and I take the field wearing the Bangladesh jersey, both of us try to give our best. When I am captain, Shakib helps me with any advice. Similarly, I also help Shakib. Even when we bat together, we help each other. This is the picture of the field. There is nothing beyond that.”
The ODI captain of the Tigers claims that if the atmosphere in the dressing room doesn’t remain good, the team performance cannot be done well. In that case, Tamim cited the recent success of the Bangladesh team. He thinks that if we keep this mindset of helping each other in the field, we will get success in the future as well. In that case, Tamim said that he is always ready to help Shakib.
