Tamim Iqbal in fitness training in Bangkok

Tamim Iqbal was once one of the most reliable openers in the T20 format of Bangladesh. However, he retired from this shortest format of cricket a few days ago. As a result, Team Bangladesh went to play without him in this year’s Asia Cup. ODI captain Tamim Iqbal is not spending busy time now due to retiring from T20 International.

He is giving time to his family as he isn’t playing for many days. The family pictures published on social media show that the best opener of the country is having a good time. But this time he is emphasizing to increase the fitness of the body. The left handed batsman recently went to Thailand to work on fitness.

It is very important for a player to be fully fit during the playing season. So maybe Tamim’s extra effort is to stay fit. Tamim has an international game in December. Tamims will also play Test and ODI series against India. Before that, the ODI captain is going abroad to keep himself fit.

Although the country’s cricketers are not seen going out much, Tamim has gone to Bangkok for fitness training before. Get his body fit by expert trainer before. This time again, the left-handed batsman will return to the country with a fit body.

It may be noted that technical consultant Sridharan Sriram’s special camp is starting in Mirpur from September 12. Team Bangladesh players will join the camp. It is not yet certain whether Tamim will join there. The camp is mainly going to be held as a preparing for the upcoming tri-nation series in New Zealand and T20 World Cup. There is a high possibility that Tamim will not join this camp as he has retired from T20.
