Field workers and pitch makers have worked tirelessly for two months to run the latest Indian Premier League (IPL) beautifully and successfully. The BCCI president did not make a mistake in keeping in mind their outstanding contribution. Sourav thanked everyone involved for the smooth and beautiful organization.
Twenty-two yards and outfield are very important in cricket. The character of 22 yards determines whether the bowlers or the batters will show dominance in the match. On the other hand, it depends on the quality of the outfield, and how fast the ball will go to the boundary. At the same time, how difficult or easy the task can be for fielding also depends on the outfield.
It all depends on the skill of the field workers. They take care of the field and the pitch like children with sun and rain on their heads. If there is a long competition, that task becomes more challenging. It is the field staff who arranges and takes care of the pitch and the outfield so that the field can bear the load of a continuous game.
