Shahid Afridi’s explosive comments on Gambhir

Shahid Afridi's explosive comments on Gambhir

India-Pakistan’s meet in the 22 yards spreads heat of the high voltage match. The match between the two teams is full of excitement. Not only among the cricket lovers, but the excitement also spread among the cricketers of the two countries as well. There goes a war of words before and after the match.

This is how former star pacer Waqar Younis poked India before the Asia Cup match. India’s Irfan Pathan also responded. However, while there has been harmony between the players in recent times, there have been seen to pinch in the past.

The fight between India-Pakistan players, two former stars of the two countries, Shahid Afridi and Gautam Gambhir, has been going on for a long time. No one plays for the national team anymore. But the war of words continues. The relationship between the two is like a snake-mongoose. They are reluctant to miss any chance to pinch.

With what did their conflict start? During an ODI match in 2007, the two got involved in a dispute. Even after almost 15 years have passed, Afridi-Gambir’s feud has not subsided. When they get a chance, both of them pinch each other.

This time was no exception. Although Pakistan lost to India on August 28, Afridi did not forget to poke Gambhir. Afridi said that he does not argue with all of the Indian cricketers.

In this regard, Afridi told a local Pakistani media, ”It is not that I am involved in a quarrel or dispute with any other Indian cricketer. There have been several disputes with Gambhir on social media. I think he is a man who is not liked by anyone even in the Indian team.”

So far, however, Gambhir has not responded to Afridi’s words. But many expect serious people like Gambhir will respond quickly. Let’s see how far the fight of the two goes in the virtual world after the fight on the field.
