Sachin Tendulkar to return to the field in the Indian jersey

Long ago, the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar put off his bat, pads, gloves. But good news for Sachin fans. Sachin Tendulkar will again enter the field in the Indian jersey. Master Blaster is returning to 22-yards again.

The legendary batsman will play for India Legends in the ‘Road Safety World Series’ starting from September 10. Sachin will even lead the team. The organizers of the tournament confirmed this. Sachin played for India as the captain in the first edition of this tournament as well. India has also become the champion in that season.

This time Sachin is in the lead, but the names of the rest of the team are not yet known. This 22-day tournament will be played in four fields. All the matches will be held in Kanpur, Indore, Dehradun and Raipur.

Meanwhile, apart from Sachin, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Noman Ojha, Pragyan Ojha, Munaf Patel played in the Indian team in the previous season. There were 7 teams in total. This time New Zealand will join India, Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh and England.

India’s Ministry of Road Transport, Information and Technology and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs launched this tournament with former cricketers mainly to raise awareness of road safety worldwide.

After retiring from cricket, Sachin is seen participating in various awareness activities. These works of the legend have been widely praised. Many have also welcomed Sachin’s entry into this field for safe roads.
