Rajasthan Royals (RR) has picked up a remarkable 7-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) with 11 balls to spare thanks to a superb century by Jos Buttler at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the IPL 2022 qualifiers 2 on Friday. After winning this match, RR has reached the final as the second finalist of the tournament.
After winning the toss, RR captain Sanju Samson decided to field and sent RCB to bat first. Despite scoring a huge 207 runs in the eliminator match, RCB came under pressure from the start to bat in this match. In the 2nd over of the innings, Virat Kohli returned to the dressing room with 7 runs. As a result, RCB could not score more than 46 runs even though they did not lose any more wickets in 6 overs of the power play.

Devdutt Padikkal was dismissed for 9 off 12 balls. Buttler then did the rest of the work to win with Shimron Hetmyer. The English batsman hit a huge six off the first ball of the 19th over to bring the victory for Rajasthan.
Batting for 158 runs, Jos Buttler scored 106 runs alone. Playing 60 balls, his innings was arranged with 10 boundaries and 6 huge sixes. Buttler’s remarkable batting performance in the IPL this year can only be understood by looking at his statistics.
