Recovering from injury, Liton Das to return in the first match of the World Cup

Recovering from injury, Liton Das to return in the first match of the World Cup

Bangladesh got good news before the start of the main phase of the World Cup. Liton Das, one of the batting pillars of Team Bangladesh, has recovered from injury. Although he was named in the World Cup squad, he was in doubt due to injury. However, Minhajul Abedin Nannu, the chief selector of the national team, hopes that he will be able to play in the first match of Bangladesh after recovering from injury.

Liton was injured just before the World Cup. He suffered from injury while batting against Pakistan in the last match of the tri-series in New Zealand. As a result, this tiger batsman could not enter the field even in the first warm-up match of Bangladesh in the World Cup. So there was a doubt whether Liton can play in the main stage of the World Cup or not. However, Bangladesh Cricket Board Chief Selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu gave good news to the fans by putting an end to that doubt.

He also spoke to the media about this, “Litton is fine now. Physio, as per the report of the doctors, he is in perfect condition. Hopefully he will be fully recovered by tomorrow.”

Liton also missed the last Asia Cup due to injury. If the World Cup is also missed, it would be a big blow for Team Bangladesh. Liton returns, so relief has returned to the Bangladesh camp. Although Liton has not yet responded to this.

The main phase of the World Cup will start next Saturday. Bangladesh will start their World Cup campaign with their first match on October 24. Everyone will be looking at Liton’s bat in that match. Bangladesh laughs when Liton’s bat laughs.
