Naseem is the ambassador of Balochistan Police

বেলুচিস্তান পুলিশের শুভেচ্ছাদূত হলেন নাসিম

Nasim Shah is now having a busy time in cricket. He is slowly establishing his place in the Pakistan team in all three formats. Also the pressure of franchise cricket is there. In the meantime, Nasim was seen in a new role. But that’s not in the cricket field, as a police ambassador. The star pacer will now be seen in the role of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Balochistan.

The authorities handed over the charge to Naseem, organizing a function at the Quetta police headquarters. The Pakistani pacer also expressed his feelings after getting the new responsibility. Nasim said on the occasion that he was afraid of the police as a child. Even as a child, his parents used to scare him with the police. After growing up, that fear gradually disappeared. Now he got the opportunity to work for the police himself. He also realized the suffering of everyone engaged in this work.

Nasim said on the occasion, “When I was a child, my parents used to scare the police. I was very afraid of the police. But now I have grown up. That fear is gone. These forces work hard. They provide round-the-clock service to keep the people of the country safe. They benefit people by risking their lives. We cannot deny their contribution in any way. My respect and honor to all policemen.”

However, this is not the first time that cricketers have acted as goodwill ambassadors for law enforcement agencies. There are precedents of cricket stars from many countries of the world being engaged in this work. Such incidents have also been seen in Pakistan itself. In 2022, another star pacer of the country, Shaheen Shah Afridi was made a goodwill ambassador, Khyber Pakhtoon Police. At that time, Shaheen was highly praised by everyone.

Meanwhile, after becoming the police ambassador, Nasim will enter the field within a few days. A few days ago he played in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). From there he returned to his home country to participate in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Meanwhile, he also attended the wedding ceremony of his teammate. He was also seen with Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmed at Shaheen’s wedding on Friday.
