Mustafizur Rahman returned to the familiar rhythm in IPL

He is the only cricketer from Bangladesh to participate in this year’s IPL. Therefore, the eyes of a large part of the fans are on his performance in the IPL. But in the beginning, Mustafizur Rahman lost his temper even though he was in rhythm.

From the very beginning, he has been bowling frugally for his new team Delhi Capitals. But in the last few matches, another Mustafiz has been seen. Instead of taking a wicket, he was brutally beaten by the batsmen. However, this time, the cutter master returned in a familiar rhythm against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Mustafizur faces Kolkata at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. The pacer returned to his familiar rhythm by bowling great in that match. Mustafizur took 3 wickets for just 18 runs in 4 overs, and the economy rate was 4.50. The Bangladeshi fast bowler also raised the possibility of a hat-trick once in the match.

On the day of Mustafizur’s success with the ball, his team also won. Batting first in the match, Kolkata lost 9 wickets at the end of the allotted 20 overs and got a score of 146 runs. Delhi chased down the target of 147 runs and picked up an easy victory. They lost 6 wickets and reached the target with 1 over left.

However, despite returning to the rhythm in this match, Mustafizur has bowled relatively poor in the previous two matches. He bowled 4 overs and scored 48 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Dinesh Karthik has taken 27 runs from one over of Mustafizur. He was expensive with the ball in another match. Mustafiz gave 43 runs against Rajasthan Royals. However, he also got a wicket.

Mustafizur has taken 8 wickets in 7 matches in the current IPL season. The economy rate is also slightly higher for The Fizz, 7.39. Mustafizur’s best bowling figure is 3 for 18 at an average of 25.87 in Delhi Jersey. He may want to come back sharper in the next matches of the tournament.

However, in the last match, Mustafizur’s return to the rhythm raises hopes in the mind of Delhi captain Rishabh Pant. Fizz is the name of hope for the pace unit of the team. In the end, it remains to be seen whether Fizz can retain his form in the IPL.
