Mushfiqur Rahim talked about his wife’s controversial post

Mushfiqur Rahim is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team.

Mushfiqur Rahim, the wicketkeeper-batsman of the Bangladesh team, could not play a big innings for several days. Moreover, when he went to play reverse sweep, he was repeatedly thrown out and put the team in danger. So, he had to be repeatedly criticised. Mushi has finally scored a century after 18 innings in Test cricket. The cricketer also touched another milestone against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

Mushfiqur has become the first Bangladeshi cricketer to add his name to the elite club of 5,000 runs in Test cricket. The right-handed batsman has been seen playing a very aggressive role in the celebration of the century. As much as Mushi’s celebration on the field has caught the eye, his wife’s post on social media outside the field on Instagram has received even more attention.

Jannatul Kifayat Mondi shared a picture of Mr. Dependable centenary celebrations and wrote, “We will say goodbye with a smile, God willing! But do you have a replacement? Bangladesh cricket would have developed if we had paid a little attention to that too!”

Mondi then shot the arrow in which direction? Towards critics or BCB boss Nazmul Hasan Papon? Because, the statement given by the BCB boss about Mushi a few days ago is still under discussion. The question was asked to Mushi at a press conference at Sagarika in Chattogram at the end of the day to put an end to curiosity. But his answer was quite fluent. He smiled at the question and said, “At first I didn’t see what she wrote. If I see, I can tell what she wrote, why she wrote.”

Although he did not say anything to the BCB, Mushfiqur did not spare the critics at all. Mr Dependable says critics need to become more mature, at least for the next generation of cricketers. “It’s not desirable for any cricketer,” he said. “If you score a century in Bangladesh, you will become a big player like Bradman. If I don’t run for two days after that, I think I will go into the hole again. It is only in our Bangladesh.”

Addressing the critics at the press conference, Mushfiqur said, “It is better for Bangladeshi players if they can become a little more mature. We are senior players. We may not play for long. It is a matter of cricket culture. If juniors are supported, they are inspired. Because we have to do so much on the field, then if we go to think about what is happening outside the field, then the work on the field becomes difficult.”
