Mushfiq needs 6 stitches on leg after getting injured in the gym

Mushfiqur Rahim is said to be the most hardworking cricketer among Bangladeshi cricketers. Just as Mushfiqur, who entered the net first of all in the morning, came out last, he is also aware of fitness. This wicketkeeper known as ‘Mr Dependable’ refuses to make any concessions in regular running, gym or other exercises.

As usual, Mushfiq went to the gym at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday morning. An accident happened there. Mushfiq injured his left knee while doing gym. However, the injury cannot be said to be minor. A total of 6 stitches had to be done on the cut part of Mushfiq’s knee.

In this context, Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) chief doctor Debashish Chowdhury’s words brought some relief. He said that Mushfiqur will take at least a week to recover from the injury. But at this time, he should be fully rested. With no national team schedule, Mushfiqur will not have to miss any matches.

Injury in the midst of off form, bad times does not want to leave Mushfiqur. He has recently retired from international T20. As a result, Mushfiqur is getting ready for the National Cricket League (NCL) starting from October 10. Where this experienced batsman is supposed to play for Rajshahi division.
