Rajasthan Royals (RR) eased to a 23-run victory over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 9th match of the 15th edition of the IPL on Saturday at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai thanks to a great century by Jos Buttler. After losing the toss, RR went down to bat first, they lost 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs to collect a big score of 193 runs.
For RR, opener Jos Buttler played a devastating inning of 100 off 68 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixes. Shimron Hetmyer (35 off 14 balls) and captain Sanju Samson (30 off 21 balls) both played 2 stormy innings. Jasprit Bumrah and Tymal Mills took 3 wickets each for MI.
Coming down to chase the challenging target of 194 runs, MI lost 8 wickets in 20 overs under the controlled bowling of RR bowlers and scored 170 runs. Tilak Varma scored the highest 61 runs off 33 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes. In addition, opener Ishan Kishan scored 54 and Kieron Pollard scored 22 runs before returning to the dressing room. Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini took the maximum number of 2 wickets for RR. Besides, Trent Boult, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Prasidh Krishna took 1 wicket each.
After winning this match, Rajasthan Royals has risen to the top of the points table. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians are now in the 9th position in the points table after losing.

IPL 2022 – Match 10 (GT vs DC)
Gujarat Titans (GT) have picked up a 14-run victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) at the MCA International Stadium in Pune in the second match of the IPL 2022 doubleheader on Saturday. After losing the toss and getting to bat first, GT lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored 171 runs.
Shubman Gill, the opener for GT, played a devastating inning of 84 off 46 balls with six fours and four sixes. In addition, captain Hardik Pandya scored 31 off 27 balls and David Miller remained unbeaten on 20 off 15 balls. For DC, Mustafizur Rahman took the maximum number of 3 wickets with 23 runs in 4 overs. Besides, Khaleel Ahmed took 2 wickets and Kuldeep Yadav took 1 wicket.
DC’s innings came to a halt at 157 after losing nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs due to a superb bowling attack by the GT bowlers after coming down to chase the target of 171 runs. Captain Rishabh Pant scored the highest 43 runs from 29 balls for the team. Besides, Lalit Yadav returned with 25 runs and Rovman Powell with 20 runs. Lockie Ferguson took the maximum number of 4 wickets for GT. Mohammed Shami also took 2 wickets, Hardik and Rashid Khan took 1 wicket each.
After winning this match, Gujarat Titans have risen to 3rd place in the points table. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are now in the 4th position in the points table after losing.

SA vs BAN (1st Test – Day 3)
The third day of the first Test between Bangladesh and South Africa ended before the scheduled time due to rain as the Africans started their second innings with a lead of 69 runs. It started raining when they got 6 runs without a wicket in 4 overs. After that it was not possible to start the game, the third day’s game ended.
Earlier, Bangladesh was bowled out for 298 in reply to South Africa’s 367 in the first innings. As a result, the hosts got a lead of 69 runs in the first innings. Bangladesh opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored the first century of his international career. This is the first century of a Bangladeshi Cricketer in Test cricket against South Africa.
With 15 fours and 2 sixes, Joy was dismissed as the last batsman for the Tigers scoring 137 runs off 326 balls. Wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das scored the second-highest 41 runs. Besides, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 38 and Mehidy Hasan scored 29 runs. 22 runs came from Yasir Ali’s bat. Simon Harmer has taken the maximum number of 4 wickets for 103 runs for the Proteas. PAK vs AUS (3rd ODI)
In the third ODI, Pakistan has defeated Australia by 9 wickets to win the ODI series. The hosts chased down the 211-run target that was set by the Aussies at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, losing one wicket with 73 balls to spare. As a result, Pakistan won the series by 2-1. This is the first time since 2002 that Pakistan has won an ODI series against the Aussies.
After losing the toss and batting first, Australia lost three wickets for just six runs. Travis Head, who was in great form, got bowled by Shaheen Afridi in the first ball of the match. Haris Rauf trapped Aussie captain Aaron Finch in the lbw before starting to score in the second over. In the sixth over, Haris also sent Marnus Labuschagne (4) to the dressing room.

In the way of chasing an easy target of 211 runs, Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq put on an unbroken 190-run stand after losing Fakhar Zaman (17) at the team’s 24 runs. Like in the last match, Pak captain Babar scored a century. The top batsman of the ODI rankings, Babar Azam played an innings of 105 off 115 balls with the help of 12 fours. Imam-ul-Haq remained unbeaten on 89 runs. Nathan Ellis took 1 wicket for the Aussies.
Babar Azam has been selected as the Player of the Match and Player of the series for his outstanding performance. The two teams will meet in the only T20I match of the series on April 5 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
