South Africa are all set to host the Netherlands for the remaining two ODIs of the ongoing three-match series which began way back in November 2021 but got rescheduled due to the pandemic. After the first ODI at Centurion was washed out, the remaining two ODIs have become extremely crucial for South Africa to directly qualify for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
The Proteas, who are tenth on the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League table, need to win both of the matches without over penalties. They further need to hope that Ireland lose one of the three ODIs against Bangladesh in May to get a direct qualification into the World Cup.
On the other hand, the Netherlands will be eager to spoil South Africa’s party and take inspiration from their T20 World Cup 2022 game against them where they took them by surprise and knocked them out of the competition.

SA vs NED Probable Best Performers
Probable best batter
The South African captain has been in sublime form of late as he scored a hundred in the last series against the West Indies. The 32-year-old will look to continue his form and play another big knock against the Netherlands and help his side get into the World Cup.
Probable best bowler
Kagiso Rabada:
The speedster will look to rattle the Dutch batters with his searing pace and pick up crucial wickets for his side. It will be difficult for the Netherlands to negate South Africa’s pace threat as Rabada will be having a go at them right at the top.
