After two back-to-back defeats in the ongoing Legends League Cricket Masters (LLC Masters), India Maharajas are in a very tight spot at the moment. Their opponent for Tuesday, March 14, Asia Lions have already defeated them in the opening match of the competition and overall, the team needs to improve massively in order to earn direct qualification for the finals.
On the other hand, the Shahid Afridi-led side has managed to win both their games and are at the top of the table. Former Pakistan international Misbah ul Haq is in terrific form at the moment and will be a threat to India Maharajas in the upcoming game. With the ball, skipper Shahid Afridi and Abdur Razzaq have done well so far while others have been economical as well.
Coming back to Maharajas, skipper Gautam Gambhir is in phenomenal form, scoring half-centuries in both matches. However, their middle order looked really pale as none of the batters have managed step up and deliver so far. With the ball, there is a lot of room for improvement for the pacers, while spinners like Harbhajan Singh and Pravin Tambe have done very well in the opening two games.
