Mashrafe to lead Sylhet this time

এবার সিলেটকে নেতৃত্ব দেবেন মাশরাফি

If we talk about the name of the most successful captain in the cricket history of Bangladesh, the name of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will come first. As in the red-green jersey, his success in domestic cricket is equally impressive. Mashrafe will lead Sylhet Strikers in the upcoming season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

Franchise authorities informed this through a post on their official Facebook page. They wrote, “Captain Mashrafe on a new mission with Sylhet. Mashrafe is one of the most successful captains in Bangladesh’s cricket history. Has also maintained that trend in BPL. He is the top name in the list of successful captains even in this busy season of T20 cricket.”

Sylhet also wrote about Mashrafe, “This pacer, who is famous for Narail Express, has won four titles as a captain in BPL so far. He has won one more as a player. Mashrafe is also successful in winning matches. This time, Sylhet has joined him in the team. He is waiting to jump in with new enthusiasm with a new team. But Will Sylhet be able to win? Only time will say.”

Earlier, the team from the tea kingdom signed Mashrafe as their icon cricketer. Note that this T20 tournament based on franchise will be held on January 6, 2023. That’s why franchisees are forming teams. They are signing local and foreign players one by one before the player draft.
