Royal Challengers Bangalore’s all-rounder Shreyanka Patil went nostalgic, remembering the moment she had the chance of meeting former Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Shreyanka said that she was overwhelmed when she met him for the first time.

Patil was stunned to see Virat Kohli click a picture with her, touching her arm, though she didn’t talk to him in person, and now, she wants to frame this picture and keep it in her house and get Kohli’s autograph done on that frame.

“He took the phone and clicked a picture with me. I still want to say that he touched me here (on her arm). I went to the school and I was like, ‘Virat Kohli touched me’. It was so nice to meet him, to take a picture with him,” Patil was quoted as saying in RCB Bold Diaries.

“Though I didn’t get to meet him and talk to him in person, taking a picture with him itself is a big thing. I’m going to frame this picture, keep it in the house, protect it, and then when I meet him, I’m going to get his autograph done on that frame,” she added.

Shreyanka Patil describes the moment she saw Kohli bat

The Indian all-rounder said that she used to get stunned by seeing Kohli bat during the practice sessions of the RCB men’s team in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

“Whenever RCB used to practice in Chinnaswamy, I was like, ‘Okay fine, let me at least watch him bat, if not meet him’. So I love watching him, whatever off the field, on the field anything, I just love watching him. His body language, his intent, his vibe is amazing,” she added.

Shreyanka Patil has played two matches in the WPL so far, and although she only has two wickets at an high economy rate of 10.66, she has scored 34 runs with a top score of 23 at a strike rate of 178.94. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is busy playing the fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
