Dominant Bangladesh hand series whitewash to world champions England by defeating them by a margin of 3-0. Bangladesh also became the first team to clean sweep England in a T20I series. All-round performance with both bat and ball helped them achieve this feat.
It was a series completely dominated by the home side where each and every individual chipped in with runs and wickets. Najmul Hossain Shanto was adjudged ‘Player of the Series’ for his consistency with the bat. Adil Rashid was the pick of bowlers for England with consistent performance with the ball.
Interestingly, this was the first T20I series between Bangladesh and England.

After the series, ‘Player of the Series’ Najmul Shanto leads the batting chart with 144 runs in three innings. He is followed by English skipper Jos Buttler who scored 111 runs at an average of 37. Bangladesh opener Litton Kumar Das occupies the third spot with 94 runs at an average of 31.33.
In the bowling department, Adil Rashid leads the chart with 8 scalps in three matches and the second spot is shared among Shakib Al Hasan, Sam Curran and Taijul Islam with six wickets each.
