Jos Buttler names as the captain of the best XI of T20 World Cup, no Bangladeshi gets chance

The ICC has selected the best XI of the recently concluded T20 World Cup. Players from India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, and champions England have been included in this eleven, consisting of players from the teams participating in the competition. But there was no place for any Bangladeshi player.

England is the current champion of the T20 World Cup. The man of the final and of the tournament is also from England. England’s Alex Hales has made it to the best eleven. Hales is in the number one position of the best XI in the World Cup, averaging 212 runs at 42.40. Team captain Jos Buttler is next with 225 runs at an average of 45 and 9 dismissals. Moreover, Mark Wood and man of the final and tournament Sam Curren have a chance in this best XI.

Virat Kohli, who has been in rhythm throughout the tournament, has got a chance from India by scoring 296 runs. Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Hardik Pandya is the twelfth player on the list. Pakistan’s Shadab Khan is there as a spinner. Shaheen Shah Afridi, one of Pakistan’s primary bowling arms, also has a chance in the best eleven. This Pak pacer leads the pace attack.

One cricketer each from New Zealand, Zimbabwe and South Africa got place. Glenn Phillips of New Zealand got a place in the XI. He made it to the middle order by scoring 201 runs at an average of 40.20. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raja as spinner and South Africa’s Anrich Norkye got place in the pace attack.
