India and Pakistan faced off in the 16th match of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. Batting first in this breathtaking match, Pakistan built a fighting capital after facing the Indian bowlers. Chasing that target, India finally reached the target in the allotted 20 overs. Pakistan had to leave the field after suffering a defeat as a result. Along with this, Virat Kohli, who returned to his previous form won the man of the match title by batting brilliantly for India.

The Indian bowlers kept the Pakistani batsmen under pressure from the start. Babar Azam’s team was never at ease when batting. However, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood gave a pair of half-centuries standing against the India.

Iftikhar made a storm and returned to the pavilion but Shan Masood took the responsibility and played till the last over. As a result, Pakistan overcame the danger and set up a challenging capital of 159 runs for 8 wickets.

After Iftikhar’s return, Pakistan quickly lost few a more wickets. Mohammad Nawaz (9), Asif Ali (2), Haider Ali (2), Shadab Khan (5) quickly made their way back. After scoring 29 runs, Pakistan lost 5 wickets and came under pressure again.

In the end, the lower order’s Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 16 with a four-six in eight balls while Haris Rauf added six points with a six in four balls. Shan Masood finished with 52 from 42 balls and 5 boundaries and remained unbeaten.

Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya each claimed three wickets for the Indian bowlers. Besides, Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 1 wicket each.

This match had all the ingredients of an ideal T20 match. Brilliant bowling, ferocious batting, tense tension – a nerve-wracking final over. India beat Pakistan at the very end of a dramatic last over.

Pakistan set India a target of 160 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Batting for the win, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya pulled India back despite losing several wickets early on. In the end, India got a great victory by 4 wickets.

After going into bat for a target of 160 runs, at one point they lost their top four batsmen for 31 runs (Lokesh Rahul 4, Rohit Sharma 4, Suryakumar Yadav 15, Axar Patel 2), Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya steered the team like skillful sailors. Virat Kohli has always played well against Pakistan. If he gets Pakistan, his bat should light up by itself. The same happened in this game. He made an incredible partnership of 113 runs with Hardik Pandya.

Kohli remained unbeaten on 82 runs off 53 balls. He hit 6 boundaries and 4 sixes. Hardik Pandya got out after scoring 40 runs off 37 balls. He hit 1 boundary and 2 sixes. Dinesh Karthik (1) was dismissed in the same over. Besides, Ravichandran Ashwin remains unbeaten by 1 run. In the end, they left the field with a victory with 11 runs extra.
