It has been several years since Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from international cricket. The former Indian captain has not been busy on the field since then. Only in the Indian Premier League (IPL). So with no cricketing engagement, Dhoni has now focused on other activities. This time he was seen driving a tractor to cultivate crops on the land.
Dhoni recently released a video on his official Instagram account. In that video, it is seen that the cricket star is driving a tractor on the cropland. Even though the fans were surprised to see Dhoni in a new job, he said that he is very happy to learn. But he does not want to stop here. Dhoni wants to go to the door of ultimate success in crop farming.
However, Dhoni, who posted on Instagram after a long time, also had some fun with the audience. Captioning the video, Dhoni wrote, “It’s a new job. It was quite challenging for me. But I tried and succeeded. But there’s still a long way to go. A lot of work to be done. It’s true that every day I go to the farm, I’ll eat all the strawberries. If so, There will be no more strawberries to send to market.”
Of course, Dhoni has reasons for such fun. While picking strawberries from the field, he himself ate them. Not only did he eat it, but he also said in the caption that strawberry is his favourite. Dhoni is cultivating and marketing that favourite food. But he is not growing strawberries as a hobby. The former Indian star is earning huge sums of money by cultivating this crop commercially.
Meanwhile, it is not too late for the next season of IPL to start. As usual Chennai Super Kings will be led by this experienced wicketkeeper-batsman. For this reason, he has to leave the work of the cropland and descend to twenty-two yards again. Before getting into the main fight, there’s still work to be done to burn yourself out. After the failure of the last season, Chennai is waiting for Dhoni’s leadership to turn around.
