Cricketer Al-Amin could not be arrested despite the raid

Bangladesh national team cricketer Al-Amin Hossain has fled away after the case of wife torture. It was not possible to arrest him even after raiding various places.

Last Thursday, Al Amin’s wife filed a case of Tk 20 lakh dowry and physical abuse against Al-Amin at Mirpur Model Police Station. Al-Amin has not been traced since the case was registered on Friday.

Police conducted operations in different parts of the country to arrest Al-Amin. But they have to return empty handed. There is a rumor that Al-Amin has married a second time. He was not found even in his allegedly wife’s house. However, the matter of marriage is not clear until Kabinnama comes into the hands of the police.

Since the case, Al-Amin has not been available on the phone. The police also failed to track his location as the phone was switched off. However, the police are continuing to work to identify Al-Amin’s location using advanced technology.

It is to be noted that Al-Amin’s wife Israt Jahan has also made a human chain in front of the BCB building in the capital to demand a fair trial to ensure the rights of the children’s father. She told the media, “For two years, my children have not been getting any attention from their father. I want my children to get their father. My children grow up with their parents.”
