Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi faced off in the 13th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 at the National Stadium (Karachi) on Wednesday afternoon, March 3. Karachi Kings beat their opponent Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, Ravi Bopara’s unbeaten 58 off 40 balls helped Zalmi to a big score of 188 runs for the loss of five wickets. In addition, the innings of Sherfane Rutherford (46) and Amad Butt (27*) played two important roles in raising this score. PSL Match 14 (Quetta Gladiators vs Multan Sultans)
An exciting match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans in the 14th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 was played at the National Stadium (Karachi) on Wednesday (March 3) night. Quetta Gladiators beat their opponents Multan Sultans by 22 runs. After losing the toss, the Gladiators lost seven wickets and scored 176 runs. Where Usman Khan scored the highest run for the team (81). Shahnawaz Dhani (3-44, 4 overs) took the most wickets for Sultans. Batting for 177 runs, Sultans picked up 63 runs without losing a wicket at the end of 8 overs. Later, they were all out for 154 runs with two balls left in the innings in the great spell of Qais Ahmad. Captain Mohammad Rizwan (66) scored the highest run for the team. Australia and New Zealand met in a thrilling match at the Westpac Stadium (Wellington) on Wednesday night, March 3, in the 3rd T20 match of the series. Australia won by a huge margin of 64 runs against their opponent New Zealand. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, Glenn Maxwell’s devastating 70 off 31 balls helped Australia to a big score of 208 for four. Captain Aaron Finch (69) and Josh Philippe (43) also played two important innings for the team. New Zealand got off to a good start by chasing this huge run. The Kiwis lost three wickets in 12 overs and scored 109 runs. The hosts were bowled out for 144 in 17.1 overs by Ashton Agar’s spin whirls. Martin Guptill (43) scored the highest run for the team.
