BAN vs PAK (1st Test – Day 3)
Pakistan cricket team scored 145 runs without losing a wicket at the end of the second day, entered the field on the morning of the third day with Abid Ali (93) and Abdullah Shafique (52) at the crease. But the visitors got all out for 286 runs in the spin magic of Bangladeshi spinner Taijul Islam.
In the last two balls of the 1st over of the day, Taijul took two wickets in a row by trapping the batters in LBW. He got the wicket of Abdullah Shafique (52) at first and then sent off Azhar Ali (0). Then Babar Azam (10) who came to the wicket was sent to the dressing room by another spinner Mehidy Hasan. Earlier, Abid Ali picked up the 4th century of his career with 209 balls.
In the end, Abid returned to the pavilion after scoring 133 runs off 282 balls with 12 fours and 2 sixes. None other than Faheem Ashraf (38) and Hasan Ali (12) could make the double-digit score between the next batters. Taijul Islam took the maximum number of 7 wickets for 116 runs in 44.4 overs for the Tigers. Besides, Ebadot Hossain took 2 wickets and Mehidy Hasan took 1 wicket each.
After getting a lead of 44 runs, Bangladesh lost 3 wickets for 15 runs in the second innings. Opener Shadman Islam (1) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (0) were sent to the dressing room by fast bowler Shaheen Afridi and pacer Hasan Ali picked up the wicket of the captain Mominul Haque (0).
After a while, another opener Saif Hassan (18) fell victim to Shaheen Afridi and returned to the dressing room. Bangladesh lost 4 wickets in the second innings at the end of the third day and collected 39 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim (12) and Yasir Ali (8) will start the fourth day’s game for Bangladesh.

IND vs NZ (1st Test – Day 4)
Mayank Agarwal (4) and Cheteshwar Pujara (9), who were at the crease for 14 runs after losing one wicket at the end of the third day, came to the field on the morning of the fourth day. But they did not last long in front of the aggressive bowling of Kiwi pacers, Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson. Agarwal got dismissed for 17 and Pujara was dismissed for 22 runs.
Captain Ajinkya Rahane was dismissed for 4 runs. Then Shreyas Iyer made resistance against the Kiwi bowlers with the bat. After scoring a century in the first innings, he scored 65 runs in the second innings. Ravindra Jadeja was out without scoring a run. Ravichandran Ashwin returned to the dressing room scoring 32 runs.
However, Wriddhiman Saha and Axar Patel scored some needy runs for the eighth wicket partnership with brilliant batting. After losing the seventh wicket for 167 runs, the duo put together a 67 runs partnership. Wriddhiman scored 61 runs and Axar scored 28 runs. Indian captain Ajinkya Rahane then declared the innings at 234 runs. Southee and Jamieson took the maximum number of 3 wickets for the Black Caps and Ajaz Patel took 1 wicket each.
Batting for 284, New Zealand lost opener Will Young’s wicket early on with a ball off Ravichandran Ashwin. At the end of the fourth day, the Kiwis lost 1 wicket and collected 4 runs. They will need 280 runs to win on the last day. They have 9 wickets in hand. On the other hand, India will need 9 more wickets to win.
