The cricket world has seen a unique display of stormy batting in the 3rd match of the CPL 2021. Jamaica Tallawahs scored a mammoth total of 255 for 5 in 20 overs after losing the toss against St Lucia Kings in St Kitts and this is the second-highest team collection in CPL history.

Tallawahs’ hard hitter Andre Russell played a stormy innings of 50 off 14 balls. In addition to three fours, Russell hit six huge sixes. This is the record for the fastest fifty in CPL history.

Before Russell, other batsmen of the team also spread lights with the bat. Kennar Lewis scored 48 off 21 balls, Chadwick Walton scored 47 off 29 balls, Haider Ali scored 45 off 32 balls and captain Rovman Powell scored 38 off 26 balls. Obed McCoy took 3 wickets and Roston Chase took 2 wickets for the Kings.

Coming down to chase a huge target of 256, the Kings got all out to score 135 runs in 17.3 overs. As a result, Tallawahs won by a huge margin of 120 runs. CPL 2021 Match 4 (Trinbago Knight Riders vs Barbados Royals)

In the 4th match of the CPL 2021, the current champions Trinbago Knight Riders have won by 6 wickets against the Barbados Royals. Batting first, the Royals lost all their wickets in 19.2 overs and scored 122 runs. In reply, the Knight Riders reached the port of victory with 19 balls left in hand.

After winning the toss, the Royals lost 3 wickets to score 42 runs in 7 overs. After that, they could not make a comeback to the match due to the aggressive bowling of Isuru Udana. Azam Khan (30) played the highest run innings for the Royals. Glenn Phillips scored 24 and Shai Hope scored 20. Isuru Udana (5-21, 4 overs) took the most wickets for Knight Riders. ENG vs IND (3rd Test – Day 3)

Hosts England took a huge 354-run lead against India in the first innings of the Headingley Test. In reply, India scored 215 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 80 overs at the end of the third day. Avoid an innings defeat they still need 139 runs. Two stars Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli are fighting in that mission.

England started the third day’s game with 423 runs for 8 wickets. More than two batsmen returned to the dressing room on Friday to add only 9 more runs. As a result, the hosts were all out for 432 runs. India scored only 78 runs in the first innings and England’s lead stood at 354 runs.

Batting in the second innings, India added 34 runs to the scoreboard in the opening partnership. KL Rahul (8) returned to the dressing room in the last ball of the 19th over of the innings. Then in the second wicket partnership, Rohit Sharma and Pujara made a pair of 82 runs in 28.4 overs. Like in the first innings, Rohit was batting smoothly in the second innings as well.
