ENG vs SL (3rd T20I)
Sri Lanka lost the third and final match of the three-match T20 series. Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow helped England to defeat the visitors by a huge margin of 89 runs and whitewash them by 3-0.
England lost 6 wickets in 20 overs after losing the toss and being propelled to bat first in Southampton on Saturday, they collected a big score of 180 runs. Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow scored half-centuries for the team. Malan played a devastating inning of 76 runs off 48 balls, hitting 5 fours and 4 sixes. Bairstow played a great innings of 51 runs off 43 balls with 5 fours and 1 six. Dushmantha Chameera (4-18, 4 overs) was the highest wicket-taker for the Lankans.
Sri Lanka fell into a terrible batting disaster after coming down to chase. The team lost their first wicket on 4 runs and lost their 4th wicket whilst their score was 50 runs. The Lankans could not turn around from this situation. As a result, Sri Lanka lost all their wickets in 18.5 overs and was all out for 91 runs. Only 3 of their batters could score 2-digit. Binura Fernando scored the highest 20 runs among them.
For England, David Willey took three wickets and Sam Curran took two. Dawid Malan was named man of the match and Sam Curran was the man of the series with a total of 25 runs and 5 wickets.

WI vs SA (1st T20I)
The host West Indies have started the 5-match T20I series against South Africa with a great win. The current T20 champions have defeated the Proteas by a huge margin of 8 wickets in the first T20I on Saturday night.
After losing the toss and batting first at St. George’s Stadium in Grenada, the Proteas made 160 for six in the allotted 20 overs. Rassie van der Dussen top-scored for the team with 4 fours and 2 sixes, he made an unbeaten 56 off 38 balls. Quinton de Kock made 37 off 24 balls. For the Caribbeans, Fabian Allen and Dwayne Bravo took two wickets each.
Chasing the target of 161 runs, the Caribbeans won by 8 wickets with 30 balls to spare. Opener Evin Lewis played a big role in this victory. He played a stormy inning of 71 off 35 balls, hitting 7 sixes and 4 fours. Universe Boss, Chris Gayle remained unbeaten on 32 off 24 balls. Besides, Andre Fletcher scored 30 off 19 balls and Andre Russell scored unbeaten 23 off 12 balls.
This win gave the Windies a 1-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series. The second match between the two teams will be played tomorrow, June 28 at 00:00 (GMT + 6) on the same ground.
