IPL 2021 – Match 36 (Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals)
In the 36th match of IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals picked up an easy 33-run victory over Rajasthan Royals at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. After losing the toss, the Capitals batted first and scored 154 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Shreyas Iyer played the highest scoring innings of 43 from 32 balls for the Capitals. Besides, Shimron Hetmyer scored 28 and Rishabh Pant 24 runs. Mustafizur Rahman and Chetan Sakariya took the maximum number of 2 wickets each for RR.
Chasing the challenging target of 155 runs, RR fell under pressure from the very beginning in the bowling fierce of the bowlers of the Capitals. They could make only 21 runs by losing 3 wickets in 6 overs of power play. After that, RR could not return to the match after losing wickets regularly in the controlled bowling of the oppositions. In the end, they lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and ended their innings at 121 runs.
Captain Sanju Samson played the highest unbeaten 70-run innings off 53 balls with 8 fours and 1 six for RR. Mahipal Lomror scored 19 runs. Besides, none of their other batsmen could score a double-digit score. Anrich Nortje took two wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Axar Patel and Avesh Khan took one wicket each for the Capitals.
After winning this match, the Capitals have once again moved up to the top of the points table. Defeated RR, on the other hand, is now ranked 7th in the points table.

IPL 2021 – Match 37 (Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings)
Punjab Kings got a five-run triumph in the low-scoring match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, PBKS was able to score only 125 runs after losing 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Aiden Markram played the highest scoring innings of 27 runs for PBKS. Besides, KL Rahul scored 21 and Harpreet Brar 18 runs. For Sunrisers, Jason Holder took the maximum number of 3 wickets giving away 19 runs in 4 overs.
Chasing an easy target of 126, the Sunrisers batsmen started to fall under pressure from the very beginning with the bowling cannon of the PBKS bowlers. At one point, the Sunrisers were on the verge of winning, but they were knocked out in the 13th over of the second innings by Ravi Bishnoi. After that Holder tried to take the team to the port of victory alone but due to lack of a qualified partner, the Sunrisers lost 7 wickets and could manage to put up 120 runs in the end that is just 5 runs away from the target.
Holder played the best-scored innings remaining unbeaten on 47 off 29 balls hitting 5 sixes for Sunrisers. Besides, Wriddhiman Saha scored 31 runs. For PBKS, Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets and Mohammed Shami took 2 wickets.
After winning this match, PBKS has risen to the 5th position in the points table. On the other hand, the defeated Sunrisers are still at the bottom of the points table.
