PSL 2021 Eliminator 2 (Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi)
Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United faced off each other in the second eliminator match of PSL 2021 on Tuesday night. Peshawar secured the final as the second team in the PSL 2021 with a big win of 8 wickets, thanks to the great batting and bowling skills of their players.
After losing the toss and coming down to bat first, the United batsmen got off to a good start. They lost 3 wickets in 8 overs and took 71 runs. But then the aggressive bowling of the Peshawar bowlers shattered United’s batting line-up like a house of cards. United lost 5 wickets for 39 runs. The team that lost 3 wickets for 71 runs became 110/8 at one moment. In the end, United collected a challenging score of 174 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs with the help of fast bowler Hasan Ali’s innings of 45 runs off 16 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Riaz and Asif took 2 wickets each for Peshawar.
Peshawar opener Kamran Akmal (8) returned to the dressing room in the first over to chase the run. But then Hazratullah Zazai and Jonathan Wells put on 129 for the second wicket partnership. Where Zazai returned to the pavilion with a devastating inning of 66 off 44 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes. Wells also scored an unbeaten 55 off 43 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. In the end, Shoaib Malik’s stormy innings of 32 off 10 balls brought the triumph for Peshawar with 2 wickets in hand with 19 balls to spare.
After winning this match, Peshawar reached the final of PSL 6, and they will face the Multan Sultans in a fighting final on Thursday night!

IND vs NZ (WTC Final – Day 5)
The pacers are reigning supremely in the final of the ongoing World Test Championship at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. New Zealand could not go far even after taking advantage of the condition by bowling out India for 217 runs. Their first innings ended with 249 runs. They took the lead by only 32 runs. Two Indian fast bowlers took 7 wickets. The Kiwis were bowled out in the second session of the fifth day of the match. Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma bowled fiercely with the ball. Two spinners Jadeja and Ashwin also took wickets.
On the morning of the 5th day, the outfield was wet and it rained again slightly. The game started about an hour late. New Zealand started with 101 runs for 2 wickets. The Kiwis were in a pretty good position until that time. Mohammad Shami appeared as dangerous in the morning; New Zealand lost that good phase of the game. He has taken 4 important wickets for 76 runs.
Shami brought the first wicket of the day to India. Experienced Ross Taylor returned with 11 runs. He also got the wicket of Kane Williamson who was just short of his 50. The Kiwi captain returned with 49 runs as the 8th batsman for the team.
Then Ravichandran Ashwin did not allow Neil Wagner to open the scoring. However, playing like a batsman, Southee took the team to the doorstep of 250. Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him as the last batsman of the team for 30 runs.
India is playing slowly in the second innings. They finished the fifth day with 64 runs for two wickets. Rohit Sharma was out for 30 and Shubman Gill for 8. Cheteshwar Pujara (12*) and skipper Virat Kohli (8*) finished the 5th day’s game being on the wickets.
