BPL 2022 – Match 03 (Comilla Victorians vs Sylhet Sunrisers)
Comilla Victorians have defeated Sylhet Sunrisers by 2 wickets in a low-scoring match at BPL 2022 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday. After losing the toss and getting to bat first, the Sunrisers were bowled out for 96 runs in 19.1 overs due to the brilliant bowling of the Victorians’ bowlers.
For the Sunrisers, Colin Ingram played the top-scoring innings of 20 off 21 balls. Ravi Bopara scored 17 and Sohag Gazi collected 12 runs. Except for these three, no other batsman has been able to make a double-digit score for the team. Nahidul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shohidul Islam took the maximum number of 3 wickets each for the Victorians.
Chasing an easy target of 97 runs, the Victorians lost 8 wickets and reached the port of victory with 8 balls in hand. Karim Janat scored a maximum of 18 runs off 13 balls for the team. Besides, Cameron Delport and Nahidul Islam both played two effective innings of 16 runs. For the Sunrisers, Nazmul Islam took the maximum number of 3 wickets, and Mosaddek Hossain and Sohag Gazi took 2 wickets each.
Comilla Victorians started the tournament by winning this match. They are now at 4th place in the points table. On the other hand, Sylhet Sunrisers will take on Minister Group Dhaka in their next match in the mission to get their first points.

BPL 2022 – Match 04 (Chattogram Challengers vs Minister Group Dhaka)
In the 4th match of BPL 2022, Chattogram Challengers got a great victory of 30 runs against Minister Group Dhaka at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. After losing the toss and coming down to bat first, the Challengers lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and scored 161 runs.
Will Jacks top-scored for the Challengers with 41 off 24 balls hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes. Besides, Benny Howell (37 off 19 balls) and Sabbir Rahman (29 off 17 balls) played two stormy innings. Rubel Hossain took the maximum number of 3 wickets for the Minister Group.
Chasing a challenging target of 162 runs, the Minister Group was bowled out for 131 in 19.5 overs by the Challengers bowlers’ impeccable bowling attack. Tamim Iqbal played the best innings of 52 off 45 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes for the team. In addition, Isuru Udana scored 16 and Shuvagata Hom scored 13 runs. Shoriful Islam took the maximum number of 4 wickets for the Challengers. Nasum Ahmed scalped 3 wickets for the bowling side as well.
After winning this match, Chattogram Challengers have risen to 2nd place in the points table. On the other hand, the Minister Group Dhaka is at the bottom of the points table after losing the game.

BBL 2021/22 – Qualifier (Perth Scorchers vs Sydney Sixers)
The Perth Scorchers have won the BBL 2021/22 Qualifier match by a huge margin of 48 runs against the Sydney Sixers courtesy of Josh Inglis’s great innings at the Marvel Stadium in Docklands. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Scorchers lost just 3 wickets in 20 overs and collected a big score of 189 runs.
Josh Inglis played a remarkable inning of 79 off 49 balls with 9 fours and 1 six for the Scorchers. Kurtis Patterson (64 off 41 balls) and Mitchell Marsh (28 off 21 balls) also scored some needy runs. Hayden Kerr took 2 wickets and Steve O’Keefe took 1 wicket for the Sixers.
Chasing a huge target of 190 runs, the Sixers were bowled out for 141 in 19.1 overs by the aggressive bowling of the Scorchers’ bowlers. Ben Dwarshuis played a devastating innings of 66 runs off 29 balls with 7 fours and 4 sixes. Hayden Kerr also scored 22 and captain Moises Henriques scored 17 runs. Ashton Agar, Jhye Richardson, Jason Behrendorff, and Andrew Tye took the maximum number of two wickets each for the Scorchers.
After winning this match, Perth Scorchers went straight to the final match of the tournament. On the other hand, the defeated side of the match, the Sydney Sixers are going to get another chance to play in the Challenger match of the BBL 2021/22.
