The Sydney Sixers have defeated the Adelaide Strikers by 4 wickets at the Sydney Cricket Ground in the 16th match of the BBL 2021/22. After losing the toss and choosing to bat first, the strikers scored 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs due to aggressive bowling of Sixers bowlers.

For the Strikers, Thomas Kelly top-scored with 41 off 34 balls. Jonathan Wells (32 off 19 balls) and Matt Renshaw (24 off 23 balls) also played two good innings for the team.
