The 3rd day of the ICC World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand rolled on the field yesterday. Let’s have a glimpse over the article to know about the exciting moments of the match.

Kyle Jamieson broke the fourth wicket partnership of 61 runs between Kohli and Rahane at the beginning of the third day.  He trapped Virat Kohli for a leg-before wicket, who scored 44 off 132 balls hitting one boundary. After that, Rishabh Pant came in the wicket but returned to the dressing room early scoring only 4 runs by Latham’s palate in the delivery of Jamieson. India lost the fifth wicket for 149 runs.  Ajinkya Rahane was the victim of Neil Wagner, he was very close to his fifty(49) then with breaking the 26-run partnership with Jadeja.

Then Ravichandran Ashwin and Rabindra Jadeja teamed up for the wicket. 23 runs came in the 7th wicket partnership.  With this small contribution, India’s score exceeded 200.  Jadeja was dismissed for 15 off 53 balls and Ashwin for 22 off 27 balls hitting 3 fours.  After Ishant (4), Bumrah (0), and Shami (4) returned quickly, India was all out for 217 runs.  Kyle Jamieson took 5 wickets with only 31 runs in 22 overs.  Neil Wagner and Trent Boult took 2 wickets each. Tim Southee took 1 wicket.

Being watchful, New Zealand is playing slowly and steadily in their first innings.  The Kiwis finished the third day with 101 for two.  They are still 116 runs behind.  Tom Latham was out for 30 and Devon Conway for 54.  Captain Kane Williamson is on the crease with unbeaten 12 runs.
