PAK vs WI (3rd T20I)
Hosts Pakistan won the third and final T20I series of the series at the National Stadium in Karachi on Thursday by a huge margin of 7 wickets with 7 balls to spare against the visiting West Indies. At the same time, the Caribbeans have got whitewashed by the Men in Green in the 3 match series.
West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs to collect a big score of 207 runs. Captain Nicholas Pooran played the highest innings of 64 runs from 37 balls with 2 fours and 6 sixes for the visitors. Shamarh Brooks and Brandon King played two great innings, scoring 49 and 43 runs. Mohammad Wasim Jr took the maximum number of 2 wickets for the hosts. Besides, Shahnawaz Dahani took 1 wicket.
Chasing the huge target of 208 runs, Pakistan lost just 3 wickets in 18.5 overs and reached the port of victory. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan played a devastating inning of 87 runs off 45 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. Besides, the captain Babar Azam scored 79 runs off 53 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes. In the end, Asif Ali played a stormy inning of 21 runs from 7 balls. Odean Smith, Dominic Drakes, and Romario Shepherd took one wicket each for the Caribbeans.
Mohammad Rizwan became the Player of the Match after playing a great inning. He also became the Player of the Series for his excellent performance in the entire series.

AUS vs ENG (2nd Test – Day 1)
Aussie captain Steven Smith decided to bat after winning the toss at the Adelaide Oval in the second Test yesterday. Australia is in a good position at the end of the first day with the great innings of veteran opener David Warner and the patient batting of Marnus Labuschagne. They lost 2 wickets and picked up 221 runs.
Australia was in danger after losing the wicket of Marcus Harris (3). But then Warner and Labuschagne put on 172 for the second wicket partnership. Steven Smith came on the wicket when Warner returned to the pavilion after scoring 95 off 167 balls with 11 boundaries.
After that, however, the bowlers of England could not take any more wickets of Australia. England captain Joe Root used James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Ben Stokes, and Ollie Robinson but couldn’t get any wicket. In the end, Root bowled 11 overs, and there was no success in that either.
At the end of the day, Labuschagne is unbeaten on 95 runs. And Smith ended the first day’s play with an unbeaten 18 off 71 balls.
