The 14th match of the Road Safety World Series T20 2020-21 between England Legends & Sri Lanka Legends, the 2nd T20I match between India & England, and the 3rd & final ODI between Sri Lanka & West Indies rolled on the field yesterday. RSWS T20 (2020-21) Match 14 (Sri Lanka Legends vs England Legends)
In the 14th match of RSWS T20 (2020-21), an exciting match was played between Sri Lanka Legends and England Legends on Sunday (March 14) night at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium (Raipur). Sri Lanka Legends won by 6 wickets against their opponent England Legends.
After losing the toss, the England Legends batsmen went down to bat and fell out of the match due to the spin magic of Sri Lanka Legends captain Tillakaratne Dilshan and spinner Rangana Herath. England Legends were able to score 78 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs in their aggressive bowling. Fast bowler Chris Tremlett scored the highest 22 runs for the team. Tillakaratne Dilshan (4-6, 4 overs) was the leading wicket-taker for Sri Lanka Legends. Rangana Herath also bowled a great spell for the team (2-17, 4 overs).
Chasing an easy target, with the courtesy of captain Tillakaratne Dilshan’s devastating innings Sri Lanka legends reached the harbor of victory with six wickets in hand & 75 balls to spare. He scored an unbeaten 61 off 26 balls hitting 11 fours and 1 six, which was the highest run for the team. Left-arm off-spinner Monty Panesar (4-26, 4 overs) was the highest wicket-taker for the England Legends.
After winning this match, Sri Lanka Legends climbed up to the top of the points table. England Legends, on the other hand, are in fourth place in the points table after losing.

IND vs ENG (2nd T20)
India and England confronted each other in the second T20I match of the 5-match series at the Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad) on Sunday night, March 14. India won by a huge margin of 7 wickets against their opponent England.
England did not have a good start after losing the toss and opting to bat first. Opener Jos Butler returned to the dressing room scoring none in the third ball of the first over. Then another opener Jason Roy (48) brought them back to the match. In the end, the England batsmen lost six wickets in 20 overs and threw a challenging score of 165 towards India. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur took two wickets each for India.
Chasing the run, India’s opener KL Rahul returned to the dressing room after falling victim to Sam Curran at the end of the first over. Then, captain, Virat Kohli came into the wicket and tied the knot with another opener Ishan Kishan. Ishan Kishan returned with 56 off 32 balls but Kohli left the field with an unbeaten 73 off 49 balls. He also touched the 3,000-run milestone as the first male cricketer in the T20I format. Kohli’s devastating innings was sorted with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Courtesy of his innings, India reached the target with 7 wickets in hand and 13 balls left.
India won the second match of the 5-match T20 series to level the series 1-1. The third match will be played on March 16 on the same ground.

WI vs SL (3rd ODI)
West Indies and Sri Lanka faced off in an exciting match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium (Antigua) in the third ODI of the series on Sunday, March 14. West Indies won by 5 wickets against their opponent Sri Lanka.
After losing the toss and opting to bat, Sri Lanka was able to score 274 runs for the loss of 6 wickets at the end of 50 overs. They lost six wickets to make 151 runs in 32 overs. Ashen Bandara and Wanindu Hasaranga were unbeaten on 123 for the seventh wicket. Ashen Bandara picked up the second fifty of his ODI career off 72 balls and was unbeaten on 55 in the end. On the other hand, Wanindu Hasaranga scored the first half-century of his ODI career playing 47 balls in 7 fours and 3 sixes. He left the field with an unbeaten 80 off 60 balls. Akeal Hossain (3-33, 10 overs) was the highest wicket-taker for the hosts.
Batting for 275, West Indies felt a bit of pressure losing 2 wickets to score 40 runs in 10 overs. Shai Hope and Darren Bravo’s 109-run stand for the third wicket brought the Caribbeans back to the match. Shai Hope, the wicket-keeper-batsman, returned to the pavilion scoring 64 off 72 balls. Darren Bravo scored his third ODI century off 130 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Kieron Pollard came in after Darren Bravo lost his wicket scoring 102 runs. His unbeaten 53 off 42 balls helped West Indies to achieve the victory with 9 balls to spare and 5 wickets in hand. Suranga Lakmal (2-56, 9.3 overs) took the most wickets for Sri Lanka.
West Indies whitewashes Sri Lanka in the ODI series by winning three matches in a row, including this one. The first Test of the series is set to begin on March 21 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium (Antigua).
